About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management engineer to support enterprise IAM initiatives across identity governance, privileged access, and modern cloud-based identity solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on IAM engineering experience, strong experience with SailPoint IIQ, and the ability to operate in a large, complex enterprise environment. This is a US-based contract to hire role expected to begin as early as August 2026, with an initial term of approximately 6-12 months and potential extension.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of IAM experience in large enterprise environments.
  • Strong background in identity governance and administration.
  • Hands-on experience with SailPoint IIQ
  • Experience supporting IAM engineering, implementation, integration, or operations.
  • Ability to work independently as a senior individual contributor.
  • Strong understanding of access lifecycle management, governance, and control processes.
  • Experience working with application teams, infrastructure teams, and security stakeholders.
  • Ability to document technical designs, implementation steps, and operational procedures.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • SailPoint IIQ engineering experience.
  • privileged access management experience.
  • BeanShell experience, especially for SailPoint IIQ-related work.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare or other highly regulated environments.
  • Experience with large enterprise IAM programs involving multiple subsidiaries or business units.
  • Experience with non-human identity, secrets management, service principals, or related IAM patterns.
  • Familiarity with AI-related identity and security use cases is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support IAM engineering and architecture activities across enterprise identity programs.
  • Contribute to implementation and modernization of identity governance solutions.
  • Support SailPoint IIQ engineering activities.
  • Work with IAM teams, application owners, and platform teams to define integration approaches.
  • Assist with identity governance, access lifecycle, and access control implementation.
  • Support subsidiary or customer-facing IAM implementation work as needed.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, design notes, and implementation guidance.
  • Troubleshoot IAM platform, integration, and workflow issues.
  • Provide technical input on solution design, configuration, and operational readiness.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure IAM solutions meet enterprise security requirements.
  • Help evaluate and implement cloud-based IAM and IGA capabilities as the team expands.
