Requirements

  • OSHA 10 (Construction) — OSHA 30
  • Current First Aid / CPR / AED certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of construction, manufacturing, or facilities work; direct cleanroom or cleaning-industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read, complete, and file inspection and incident forms accurately in English

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily field safety inspections of assigned work areas to identify and document hazards.
  • Monitor housekeeping, slip/trip/fall risks, barricades, signage, and exclusion zones to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Inspect and maintain PPE availability and condition; track inventory and coordinate replenishment with site leadership.
  • Verify inspection status and tags on safety equipment including ladders, scaffolds, fall protection systems, fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, and first ‑aid kits.
  • Support permit and tag processes (hot work, confined space, lockout/tagout, out ‑of ‑service) under supervisor direction, including posting and removal.
  • Maintain site safety boards, logs, inspection checklists, and required documentation in physical and digital formats.
  • Deliver pre ‑shift toolbox talks using approved materials and support onboarding through site ‑specific safety orientations.
  • Assist with incident and near ‑miss response, including first ‑aid/AED response, scene documentation, and initial report preparation.
  • Support cleanroom and client ‑specific safety requirements, including gowning compliance, chemical safety, and ESD controls.
  • Serve as an on ‑site safety resource for crews, visitors, and subcontractors, escalating compliance concerns to supervision as needed.
