As we continue to pursue new goals, it's an exciting time to join the Bragg team. We are currently hiring a Safety Supervisor for our Phoenix , AZ branch.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
5+ years in construction/maintenance safety, with extensive experience in crane operations, structural steel erection, and rigging.
OSHA 500, 501, 510, 511, BCSP STS-C certifications.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet functions.
Ability to work flexible hours.
Excellent customer relationship skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Occupational Safety & Health Safety Management, or a related field.
Previous safety supervisory responsibilities within commercial construction, steel erections, crane, and rigging operations.
CHST or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

Conduct and document continuous inspections, ensure follow-up on deficiencies, and stop non-compliant conditions or behaviors.
Perform monthly inspections of safety equipment.
Assist in incident investigations and basic field-level incident management.
Represent the company at client-sponsored safety meetings and forums.
Implement client/company-driven safety initiatives at the field level.
Assist in the administration of the site substance abuse screening program.
Serve as the initial point of contact for company and client field personnel.
Administer and present craft safety training.
