About The Position

At HBK Engineering, a Safety Specialist in Midland, TX (West Texas Region) is a dedicated occupational health and safety professional responsible for proactively identifying workplace hazards, evaluating risks, and implementing policies and controls that protect the health, safety, and well-being of all employees. This role focuses exclusively on safety as a primary discipline, bringing technical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and strong analytical skills to ensure a safe and compliant work environment across underground facility construction, locating, design, and surveying field activities. Through strategic guidance, coaching, and continuous monitoring, the Safety Specialist plays a key role in reducing risk, preventing incidents, and fostering a culture of safety excellence across the organization.
