About The Position

Requirements

0-2 years of experience in environmental health and safety management.
Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) laws and regulations.
Ability to conduct risk assessments and enforce safety standards.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for employee training and coaching.
Proficiency in incident investigation and root cause analysis techniques.
Proficiency with EHS-related software and reporting tools.

Nice To Haves

Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification.
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
OSHA Certifications such as OSHA 30.
Construction Safety and Manufacturing Experience.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain environmental and safety policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular environmental and safety audits to assess compliance and identify potential hazards.
Provide training and guidance to employees on environmental policies, safety practices, and regulatory compliance.
Manage hazardous materials and waste programs, including storage, disposal, and documentation.
Investigate workplace accidents or environmental incidents and implement corrective measures.
Coordinate with management and cross-functional departments to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
Stay current with environmental and safety legislation and advise the company on necessary actions.
Prepare, maintain, and submit safety and environmental reports to relevant authorities.
