Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must have at least 5 years of full-time work experience in a safety role in general industry.
• Must be able to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Must be able to satisfactorily pass a motor vehicle record check.
• Must be able to meet P1 qualifications to operate a vehicle on company business.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must have access to drive a well maintained vehicle.
• Must have up to date registration with the local Department of Motor Vehicles.
• Both the candidate and the vehicle must be currently covered on a personal insurance policy.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Safety and Health is preferred.
• OHST (Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technician) Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safety training, safety shop and jobsite audits, contractor meetings, and day to day oversight of construction safety operations.
• Responsible for safety for all manufacturing shops and construction in Lawrence and surrounding areas.
