About The Position

Compliance Management International (CMI) is seeking an experienced Construction Safety Professional to join our team and support high-profile construction projects. In this role, you'll work alongside General Contractors, subcontractors, and project leadership to create safe, compliant, and productive job sites. Requirements

  • 5+ years of construction safety experience, preferably supporting a pharmaceutical build.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards (29 CFR 1926).
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification (completed within the past 5 years).
  • Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong hazard recognition, risk assessment, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or safety management software.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime, as project needs require.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Residence within a reasonable commuting distance of the assigned project (project-specific travel or per diem are not available for this opportunity).

Nice To Haves

  • CHST, STS-C and or OSHA 500 highly preferred
  • Degree in a safety related field a plus

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the on-site safety resource for General Contractors, subcontractors, and project teams.
  • Build strong relationships with field personnel while promoting a proactive, positive safety culture.
  • Coach and mentor employees on OSHA regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and field observations to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Support and lead critical safety processes, including: Pre-Task Planning (PTP), Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), Permit programs, Incident investigations.
  • Facilitate new hire orientations, toolbox talks, and task-specific safety training.
  • Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly safety meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 standards and project-specific safety requirements.
  • Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, and performance metrics.
