About The Position

Comprehensive Energy Services, Inc. is hiring experienced Safety Specialist! Join a company that values people and is passionate about making a difference. The Safety Specialist supports safe and efficient execution across multiple active construction projects by conducting field inspections, verifying high risk work controls, assisting supervisors with practical hazard solutions, and maintaining alignment with company and client safety expectations. This role serves as the primary field safety representative for assigned project portfolios and works proactively with project teams to identify risks early, improve work planning, and resolve safety concerns before they impact production. Safety Specialists are expected to challenge unsafe conditions constructively, question ineffective practices, and recommend workable alternatives that allow operations to continue safely whenever possible. The role emphasizes engagement, coaching, and problem solving in the field rather than enforcement from the sidelines. Within this organization, safety is not a stop work function of last resort, it is a planning and execution partner. Safety Specialists are expected to help teams complete work the right way the first time by integrating hazard controls into how projects are built, not reacting after problems appear. Work stoppage authority remains essential and must be exercised when imminent danger exists; however, the primary expectation of this role is to anticipate risk, remove barriers to safe execution, and support supervisors in maintaining progress without compromising standards. Success in this role requires credibility with crews, sound technical judgment, and the ability to translate safety requirements into practical field decisions that improve both compliance and productivity.
