As a Safety and Compliance position, this role will require the auditing of Hours of Service violations in addition to monitoring the Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports. This employee will also run reports that will help supervisors better determine which drivers are at higher risk to be scrutinized during Safety audits.

Requirements

Microsoft Office 365 knowledge including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Must work well in a team atmosphere and perform well in a fast pace environment
High School Diploma/GED
Good oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with trainees, drivers and other team members in person and on the telephone.
Team-oriented
Good organizational skills
Able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Able to work a flexible schedule when needed to including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Four year college degree from an accredited college or university (highly preferred)

Responsibilities

Monitor and handle all roadside inspection reports.
Monitor and handle all citations received from active drivers.
Monitor and handle all DVIR entered from drivers on Samsara.
Work with asset management on cab card transfers between all entities.
Counsel drivers and inspect equipment during pre-trip walk arounds.
Work with Director of Safety on all DataQ submissions.
Run and work reports on Rair for all inspection / CSA related items.
Auditing of Hours of Service violations.
Monitoring the Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
Run reports that will help supervisors better determine which drivers are at higher risk to be scrutinized during Safety audits.
