Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field preferred.
Deep understanding of local and federal regulations, including OSHA guidelines.
Clear verbal and written communication skills to communicate with staff and report to leadership.
Ability to walk long distances on hard warehouse floors.

Nice To Haves

Background in warehouse operations and material handling safety is a plus.
Previous compliance (Safety or U.S. CBP-related) experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Check forklifts, racking systems, loading docks, and conveyor belts regularly.
Enforce safe lifting techniques, proper hazardous material storage, and clear foot-traffic lanes.
Teach employees proper forklift operation, emergency evacuation procedures, and the correct use of safety gear.
Analyze warehouse accidents, equipment failures, and slips and falls to identify root causes.
Ensure full compliance with warehouse-specific regulations, including OSHA storage and logistics standards.
Manage security checkpoints, verify employee credentials, and maintain visitor logs.
