About The Position

CentiMark Corporation has an immediate full-time opening for a Safety Specialist in its Motor City Region, based out of the Kalamazoo, Michigan, or Westland, Michigan, offices. The position supports safety and risk management across multiple office locations and crews in the assigned region. It is open to varying experience levels and offers career growth based on performance. Frequent regional travel is required, including overnight stays in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio; approximately 25% of travel is overnight.

Requirements

• Knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations.
• Strong investigative and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• A bachelor's degree in Safety or 1–3 years of safety experience.
• Ability to travel overnight and stay out of town in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio.

• Bilingual ability in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites and offices throughout the assigned region to conduct on-site safety inspections.
• Conduct safety training.
• Investigate claims.
• Support safety and risk management for multiple office locations and crews in the assigned region.
