Requirements

Qualified CDL drivers
Knowledge of HOS regulations
Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA regulations
Experience with ELD systems
Ability to coordinate repairs and maintenance
Experience in driver recruiting
Experience in driver file and compliance management
Experience in safety meeting preparation and conduction

Responsibilities

Monitor driver ELD logs daily to ensure compliance with HOS regulations.
Provide immediate support when ELD issues or violations occur.
Coordinate truck and chassis repairs and maintenance responses.
Manage DOT inspections and related compliance requirements.
Work closely with dispatchers and drivers to improve communication and operational efficiency.
Conduct driver coaching and retraining when safety or operational issues arise.
Continuously recruit qualified CDL drivers through online advertisements and other hiring methods.
Ensure all hiring follows company policies and operational standards.
Handle driver disciplinary actions, retraining, and termination processes when necessary.
Maintain and update driver qualification files and safety records.
Ensure all documents remain current and compliant with DOT/FMCSA regulations.
Track truck and chassis PM inspection schedules.
Coordinate repair and maintenance appointments with mechanics and vendors.
Follow up on repairs to ensure equipment is operating safely.
Prepare and conduct quarterly safety meetings based on company safety policies and procedures.
