This position involves patrolling all areas of the property, assisting guests with room access, and monitoring various security systems including Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm systems, duress alarms, and fire life safety systems. The role requires locking property entrances when necessary, conducting daily physical hazard inspections, and responding to accidents by contacting EMS or administering first aid/CPR. The individual will assist guests and employees during emergency situations, notify appropriate individuals of incidents, and de-escalate guest/employee disturbances. This role also involves calling for outside assistance when needed, completing incident reports, handling interruptions and complaints, and resolving safety hazard situations. The Safety & Security Overnight position requires escorting unwelcome persons from the property, reporting to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts, and using proper code responses. A key responsibility is completing a Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report and maintaining the confidentiality of all Security/Loss Prevention and property reports and documents, releasing information only to authorized individuals. The role also includes conducting investigations, gathering evidence, and interviewing relevant parties. Additionally, the position requires adherence to all company policies and procedures, reporting accidents and unsafe work conditions, completing safety training, maintaining a clean and professional appearance, protecting company assets, and welcoming guests according to company standards. Anticipating and addressing guest service needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and thanking guests with appreciation are also essential. The role demands clear and professional communication, accurate and complete written documentation, and developing positive working relationships. Compliance with quality assurance expectations and standards is mandatory. Physical requirements include standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, reading and visually verifying information, inspecting tools and equipment, entering and locating information on computers, moving at a speed required to respond to work situations (e.g., run, walk, jog), and performing tasks that may require fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. The role involves moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and over 75 pounds with assistance. It also requires reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors may also be performed. Some states may have additional licensing/registration requirements.
