Safety & Security Officer
About The Position
This role is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment. Key activities include reporting accidents and completing safety training, adhering to company policies, maintaining a professional appearance, and protecting company assets. The position also involves providing excellent guest service, communicating effectively, collaborating with team members, and upholding quality standards. Physical requirements include standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and lifting objects up to 10 pounds without assistance. The role also entails performing other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Requirements
- Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
Responsibilities
- Reports accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
- Completes safety training and certifications.
- Follows all company policies and procedures.
- Ensures uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Protects company assets.
- Welcomes and acknowledges all owners/guests according to company standards.
- Anticipates and addresses owners/guests’ service needs.
- Assists individuals with disabilities.
- Thanks owners/guests with genuine appreciation.
- Speaks with others using clear and professional language.
- Prepares and reviews written documents accurately and completely.
- Answers telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others.
- Supports team to reach common goals.
- Listens and responds appropriately to the concerns of other associates.
- Complies with quality assurance expectations and standards.
- Stands, sits, or walks for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
