About The Position

Glenmont Job Corps is seeking a professional, dependable, and proactive Safety & Security Advisor to help maintain a safe and supportive campus community. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety and security of the campus, students, staff, and visitors, contributing to a positive student experience and overall student success.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
• Must possess a valid In state Drivers License
• Meet Company insurability requirements
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and /or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degrees preferred
• Job Corps or related program experience

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the safety and security of the campus, students, staff, and visitors
• Conduct routine patrols and inspections of facilities and grounds
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and safety concerns
• Enforce center policies and procedures to promote a secure environment
• Prepare accurate reports and documentation related to incidents and observations
• Collaborate with staff and leadership to support a positive student experience
