About The Position

Plan, implement, and promote safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations. Plan and implement programs to coach superintendents and employees in work site safety and safe installation practices. Provide company and customer-required training to employees and subcontractors as needed. Organize and facilitate safety meetings and coach personnel on the JSA process. Perform jobsite inspections to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards. Collaborate with onsite personnel to determine corrective and or preventative measures where a hazard has been identified and follow up to ensure measures have been implemented. Work with employees to develop jobsite safety plans. Develop and implement solutions to mitigate identified workplace safety hazards. Participates in accident and injury investigations to determine root cause and preventive measures. Recommend and implement corrective action if required. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have a thorough knowledge of construction processes and management techniques.
  • Confidentiality is a must.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s license.

  • Construction field experience preferred.
