About The Position

We’re looking for a Safety & Regulatory Compliance Manager to help lead safety and compliance at our pyrotechnics manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a regulated manufacturing environment. In this position, you’ll work with operations, leadership, and other departments to keep our facility safe, compliant, and audit-ready. The right candidate is someone who follows through, spots issues early, and helps drive corrective actions to completion rather than waiting for problems to escalate. This candidate will also have a keen willingness to learn, adapt, listen, and improve in a team setting.

Requirements

• Experience in safety, compliance, regulatory, manufacturing, or industrial operations.
• Strong follow-through and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Good judgment, clear communication, and a practical approach to problem-solving.
• Confidence working in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
• Expert skills in the use of various systems and technology, including but not limited to internal databases, excel, and Teams.
• Clean Background Check: Federal law prohibits us from hiring anyone with any felony convictions, no matter how long ago it occurred
• Pass a Drug Screen: You must be able to pass a drug screen

Nice To Haves

• Experience in pyrotechnics, explosives, chemical manufacturing, or a similar industry is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with OSHA and other applicable regulatory requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day safety and regulatory compliance efforts for the facility.
• Maintain safety programs, procedures, and required documentation.
• Coordinate training, inspections, audits, and compliance follow-up.
• Investigate incidents, track corrective actions, and help prevent repeat issues.
• Partner with operations to identify risks and close gaps before they become bigger problems.
• Monitor regulatory requirements and help implement changes when needed.
• Support emergency preparedness, drills, and response planning.
• Maintain organized records for internal review and external inspections.
