About The Position

IB Abel is seeking a Safety & Quality Coordinator responsible for analyzing and developing safety plans, risk assessments, and pre-job briefings. This role involves keeping training certifications current and providing safety and quality leadership to field workforces on electrical services projects. Requirements

• Electrical Journeyman classification OR Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school.
• 5 years of related safety experience and training.
• OSHA 10, 30, 500 training.
• OSHA training and development training.
• Proficient in MS Office applications with strong skills in Excel, Word, and MS Project.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
• A “can-do” attitude.
• Strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

• Prior instructor training or experience with instructor certifications.
• CSP, CUSP or other related safety certification.
• Confined Space Entry Trainer.
• CPR/First Aid Instructor.
• Local to Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and develop safety plans, risk assessments, and pre-job briefings.
• Keep training certifications current.
• Provide safety and quality leadership for projects related to electrical services.
• Review contract documents to understand project safety and quality requirements.
• Ensure thorough pre-construction planning related to Safety & Quality.
• Provide guidance or documentation during preconstruction.
• Facilitate Site-Specific Safety Plan reviews with Project leadership.
• Attend pre-construction meetings and provide input on safety and quality responsibilities.
• Upload Safety & Quality documents to SharePoint or server.
• Maintain organized and accurate records to support compliance and communication.
• Communicate and coach customer safety requirements to ensure understanding and compliance.
• Attend project meetings representing the company on safety and quality matters.
• Stay current on industry standards, regulations, and work practices.
• Continue education through professional certifications and training.
