About The Position
Train and supervise 5th grade safety patrol students. Be present to monitor students. Other duties as assigned. Ability to work diligently with upper elementary students. Demonstrate interpersonal relations, organization, communication, and problem solving skills. Understanding the needs of age-appropriate students that take on leadership roles. Dedicated in helping Washington students/families/staff safely cross streets to get to and from school through supporting student safety patrol members. Attendance and punctuality are important functions of this position.
Requirements
- Ability to work diligently with upper elementary students.
- Demonstrate interpersonal relations, organization, communication, and problem solving skills.
- Understanding the needs of age-appropriate students that take on leadership roles.
- Attendance and punctuality are important functions of this position.
- Must provide proof of employment eligibility prior to working.
- Complete a disclosure form indicating whether he or she has been convicted of crimes against persons listed in the law.
- Background check, based on fingerprints, will be requested from the Washington State Patrol & FBI.
