Safety Medical Responder I- EMT
About The Position
As one of our seasonal Medical First Responders, you will be responsible for responding to medical emergencies and giving competent first aid care to guests and associates within certified training levels and in accordance with approved Six Flags Entertainment protocols. This role provides basic clinical and/or basic life support care to guests and employees including wound care, removing splinters, administering over-the-counter medications and basic health evaluations according to Kings Dominion guidelines and ODEMSA protocols. The role also involves promptly responding to medical calls in the park, performing thorough accident investigations, processing and completing departmental paperwork while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality, and cleaning and maintaining supplies and equipment. Assistance with patient follow-up is also provided as needed.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid CPR certification.
- Must possess a valid Virginia State EMT-Basic, Advanced, Intermediate, or Paramedic Certification.
- Must have a valid Virginia driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Emergency Vehicle Operator Certification (EVOC) class II preferred.
