About The Position

HazTek is seeking a seasoned Construction Safety Manager to support a large-scale capital construction project at an active pharmaceutical/industrial facility. This role requires a collaborative leader who can integrate contractor safety programs with site operations while driving visible leadership and a strong safety culture. As a Safety Manager in Spring House, PA, you’ll lead the charge in building a culture where safety is more than a priority — it’s a core value. You’ll ensure best practices are implemented, compliance standards are met, and every team member goes home safe each day.

Requirements

5+ years of construction safety experience in industrial, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environments
Experience working in active/operating facilities preferred
Strong communication and contractor management skills
OSHA 30 required
Proficient Microsoft Office skills

Responsibilities

Develop and implement the project Construction Safety Plan
Review and approve contractor safety plans, risk assessments, and high-risk activity procedures
Provide visible safety leadership through audits, inspections, and field engagement
Lead contractor coordination meetings and support project team collaboration
Oversee permit-to-work systems, LOTO, heavy lifts, and high-risk construction activities
Monitor safety performance, validate reporting, and coordinate incident investigations
Support commissioning, pre-start-up safety reviews, and project closeout documentation
