Goddard School Director in Spring House
About The Position
The Goddard School in Spring House is seeking Education & Operations Directors to join their fast-growing leadership team. Directors will be central to hiring and onboarding faculty, assisting with licensing and training, and building a positive and nurturing culture. The leadership team is supported by local onsite owners with a proven track record in faculty development. The school has earned NAEYC Accreditation+, is a STARS 4 School, and was recognized as a Goddard School Circle of Excellence School (top 5% nationwide). The school provides a safe environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, following The Goddard School programs and philosophies, with a focus on learning through play and implementing the new Wonders of Learning curriculum. Directors are responsible for the daily management of the school, including Human Resources, Parent Communications, Curriculum Implementation, Touring Prospective Families, Achieving Goddard Systems and State Requirements, and other delegated tasks. Directors must also be prepared to assist with all responsibilities of Teachers, including supervising children, changing diapers, assisting with toileting, interacting with children at their developmental levels, and implementing Health & Safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Education
- At least two years of experience in teaching
- Management experience from a licensed childcare center
