About The Position

We are seeking a Safety Manager to oversee EHS and site safety operations at a manufacturing facility. This is a full-time contract position for 3-5 months, with possible extension. The role involves managing safety programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA and MIOSHA, conducting inspections and audits, investigating incidents, delivering training, and managing various safety programs.

Requirements

• OSHA 30 certification required.
• At least 3 years of experience in Safety, EHS, or HSE.
• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, logistics, warehousing, or construction.
• Experience with safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

• Korean and English bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA and MIOSHA requirements.
• Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
• Investigate incidents and near misses and perform root cause analyses.
• Deliver employee safety training and toolbox talks.
• Manage JHA, LOTO, fall protection, hazard communication, and PPE programs.
• Track safety KPIs and lead ongoing safety improvements.
