About The Position

The Safety Manager will support a short-term data center project in Manassas, VA, focusing on maintaining a safe and compliant work environment across all job site activities. This role will be responsible for overseeing daily safety operations and ensuring adherence to OSHA regulations and established site safety protocols. This position requires hands-on involvement in incident and case management, along with verification of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Permit to Perform (PTP) procedures. The Safety Manager will actively engage with trades on-site, reinforcing safety expectations while identifying and mitigating potential hazards. Additionally, the role includes delivering daily safety briefings and toolbox talks to promote awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement in safety performance throughout the duration of the project.

Requirements

• OSHA 30 and/or OSHA 510
• NFPA 70E
• Ability to work onsite Monday-Friday for the full project duration
• Strong communication and field leadership skills
• Experience supporting construction or data center environments preferred
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards
• Strong working knowledge of NFPA 70E requirements
• Strong working knowledge of data center or construction safety practices
• Experience in field safety oversight
• Experience in compliance auditing
• Experience in implementing energy control procedures such as LOTO

Responsibilities
