Safety Manager
About The Position
Charles Taylor Safety Solutions is seeking a Safety Manager for a 1099 Contract position in Woodbury, MN. This is a 3-4 month project, 5 days a week, working with the client on-site. Responsibilities include daily sign-in sheets, observing high-risk activities, conducting morning safety huddles, managing lift plans and syncs, monitoring team PPE compliance through regular site walks, and escalating issues to the PM as needed. Responsibilities
- Conducting project safety inspections and orientations.
- Safety training as requested/required.
- Observation and monitoring of worksite employees and safety practices.
- Complete document reviews, contractor correspondence, and document management.
- Other tasks and activities within the realm of the EHS profession within the manager's skills, abilities, certifications, and authorizations.
- Communicating safety standards between trades, GC and sub-contractors.
- Daily sign-in sheet.
- Observe all high risk activities.
- Morning safety huddles.
- Lift plan/lift plan syncs.
- Monitor team's PPE compliance through regular site walks and escalate to PM, as needed.
