About The Position

Join a commercial electrical contractor supporting construction and facility improvements at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, OH. This opportunity provides hands-on safety oversight for electrical construction activities while supporting a workforce of approximately 75-85 craft personnel. The Safety Manager will maintain a strong field presence while working directly with project leadership, supervision, and craft personnel to ensure compliance with safety requirements and reinforce safe work practices throughout the project.

Requirements

OSHA 510 Certification
Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience
General construction safety experience
Strong knowledge of fall protection requirements
Experience conducting field inspections and hazard assessments
Ability to maintain a highly visible field presence and engage with crews
Working knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards
Working knowledge of Commercial Construction Safety
Working knowledge of Electrical Construction Safety
Working knowledge of Fall Protection Systems
Working knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Programs
Working knowledge of Hazard Recognition & Risk Mitigation
Working knowledge of Material Handling Operations
Working knowledge of Aerial Lifts & MEWPs
Working knowledge of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)
Working knowledge of Incident Investigation & Corrective Actions
Working knowledge of Contractor Safety Management
Working knowledge of Construction Risk Assessment & Mitigation

Responsibilities

Provide daily field safety oversight for electrical construction activities
Maintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas
Conduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments
Monitor fall protection compliance and PPE usage
Support approximately 75-85 craft workers onsite
Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements
Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions
Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel
Coordinate safety activities with project management and supervision
Participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation
Maintain required safety documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports
