Safety Manager - Lexington, KY
About The Position
This position supports the installation of overhead fire protection piping on an active construction project in Lexington, KY. The Safety Professional will be responsible for maintaining a strong safety presence in the field and ensuring work is performed in compliance with OSHA standards and site-specific safety plans. The role is highly field-focused and requires continuous interaction with crews, supervisors, and subcontractors. The Safety Professional will monitor daily activities, identify potential hazards, and support corrective actions to maintain a safe and compliant jobsite throughout the duration of the project.
Requirements
- OSHA 510 Certification
- Minimum of 3+ years of construction safety experience
- Experience supporting active field construction environments
- Ability to work in a highly visible, field-based role
- Willingness to work possible Saturdays during peak project periods
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Working knowledge of OSHA construction standards, fall protection, overhead work hazards, and jobsite safety best practices
- Experienced in field-based safety enforcement, proactive risk mitigation, and supporting safe installation activities in an active construction environment
