About The Position

Garney is hiring a Safety Manager to ensure safety is the number one priority on its water and sewer pipeline projects. This role supports project management and field personnel by reviewing, implementing, and assisting with safety regulations and standards. The manager conducts job-site safety training, daily inspections, and accident and incident investigations. Willingness to travel and/or relocate is required.

Requirements

OSHA 30 Certification in Construction.
Must have or be able to obtain CHST within six months of employment.
Willingness to travel and/or relocate.

Nice To Haves

Degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction engineering, construction management, or a safety-related field.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Review, implement, and assist with safety regulations and standards for project management and field personnel.
Conduct safety training for job-site personnel.
Conduct daily safety inspections to identify, document, and correct safety hazards.
Conduct accident and incident investigations.
