About The Position

Charles Taylor Safety Solutions is seeking a Safety Manager for a 3-4 month project in Woodbury, MN. This is a 1099 contract position requiring 5 days a week, 10-hour days, with occasional Saturdays. The role involves working on-site with the client, managing daily sign-in sheets, observing high-risk activities, conducting morning safety huddles, overseeing lift plan/lift plan syncs, and monitoring team PPE compliance through regular site walks, escalating issues to the PM as needed. The position requires OSHA 500 and data center experience, along with 3+ years of construction industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Conducting project safety inspections and orientations.
• Safety training as requested/required.
• Observation and monitoring of worksite employees and safety practices.
• Complete document reviews, contractor correspondence, and document management.
• Communicating safety standards between trades, GC and sub-contractors.
• Observe all high risk activities.
• Conduct morning safety huddles.
• Lift plan/lift plan syncs.
• Monitor team's PPE compliance through regular site walks and escalate to PM, as needed.
