Administer and support the company's safety program across all field and office operations. This role involves conducting regular jobsite safety inspections, audits, and observations to identify hazards and ensure compliance with company safety standards. The Safety Manager will partner with field leaders, project managers, and supervisors to promote safe work practices and proactively address safety concerns. Responsibilities include investigating workplace injuries, incidents, near misses, vehicle accidents, and property damage events, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective actions. The role also involves coordinating incident documentation and partnering closely with Human Resources on various aspects of workplace injuries. Additionally, the Safety Manager will deliver and coordinate safety training, maintain safety records, monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and customer safety requirements, and track/report safety metrics. A key part of the role is leading the company's vehicle and driver safety program, supporting contractor qualification, and coordinating safety-related equipment inspections. The Safety Manager will conduct field visits to reinforce safety expectations, coach employees, and assist with employee engagement initiatives related to workplace safety. They will also facilitate annual Fire Drills and Tornado drills, assist with the development and improvement of safety procedures, and maintain current knowledge of regulatory changes and industry best practices. The Safety Manager will serve as a visible and approachable safety resource, reinforcing the company's commitment to a culture where safety is a shared responsibility, and will maintain ISNetworld and Avetta platforms.
