Requirements
- Manufacturing, military, emergency response, leadership, or safety-related experience
- Coursework or training related to safety, occupational health, environmental science, industrial technology, or continuous improvement
- Experience leading teams, mentoring others, coaching, or training employees
- OSHA training, First Aid/CPR certification, or other safety-related certifications
- Experience identifying problems, improving processes, and helping others work safely
- High School Diploma or GED is required
Nice To Haves
- A degree in a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Promote a positive safety culture throughout the organization
- Conduct workplace inspections and safety observations
- Assist with employee safety training and onboarding
- Participate in incident and near-miss investigations
- Help identify hazards and develop practical solutions
- Support safety programs, regulatory compliance efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in projects that reduce risk and improve workplace safety
- Build relationships with employees and become a trusted safety resource
