KE&G Construction, a leading heavy civil and general contractor in Arizona, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Safety Engineer to join our team for our Southern Arizona Division. Requirements

Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in both construction and general industry.
Proven ability to conduct investigations and develop actionable solutions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for addressing large groups.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry health and safety regulations.
Conduct thorough risk assessments and recommend corrective actions as needed.
Lead and present health and safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and safety meetings for employees.
Investigate accidents, near-misses, and injuries to identify root causes and implement preventative measures.
Recommend solutions and improvements to enhance workplace safety practices.
Collaborate with leadership and staff to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Prepare and maintain safety documentation using Microsoft Office tools.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
