About The Position

Fireplace Stone & Patio is seeking an experienced Safety & DOT Compliance Manager to lead and manage safety programs across our facilities, job sites, and field operations. This role is responsible for OSHA compliance, DOT/FMCSA compliance, safety training, jobsite audits, and incident prevention while supporting a strong safety culture across multiple locations. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in construction safety, OSHA compliance, and DOT or fleet safety programs, who prefer a hands-on role working closely with Operations to ensure safe, compliant, and consistent work practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in safety management, EHS, construction safety, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety compliance, and jobsite safety practices
  • Experience with audits, inspections, incident investigations, and safety training
  • Experience working in multi-location or field-based operations
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background checks
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured under company policy
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary resource for OSHA and DOT/FMCSA compliance
  • Ensure consistent safety programs, audits, inspections, and training across all locations
  • Support a proactive approach to hazard identification, incident prevention, and risk reduction
  • Partner with Operations to improve safety performance, documentation, and accountability
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations, DOT requirements, and company safety policies
  • Lead and manage company-wide safety programs and OSHA compliance
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and jobsite safety assessments
  • Identify hazards and implement corrective actions
  • Deliver safety training (new hire, refresher, and task-specific training)
  • Investigate incidents, injuries, and near-misses, including root cause analysis
  • Maintain OSHA logs, safety documentation, and compliance records
  • Support subcontractor safety compliance through jobsite observations and documentation
  • Oversee DOT/FMCSA compliance, including driver safety and fleet-related requirements
  • Partner with Operations to improve safety culture and field execution
