Works with personnel throughout the organization to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Monitors facility and processes for adherence to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines and the elimination of industrial accidents.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent experience required

Responsibilities

Assists with the implementation of EHS programs in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Become forklift certified trainer within the first 30 days
Train and certify forklift users
Coordinate forklift maintenance and work closely with the repair teams
Conduct regular facility inspections to identify hazards, recommend corrective actions, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Assist with coordination of safety training sessions to promote awareness and safe work practices.
Maintain accurate records of safety meetings, training, incidents, and inspections.
Assist in investigating workplace incidents, near misses, and injuries; document findings and recommend preventive measures.
Serve as a contact for safety-related questions and provide guidance to employees and supervisors.
Ensure proper use, maintenance, and availability of personal protective equipment (PPE).
