The Safety & Training Coordinator is responsible for performing day-to-day safety activities in support of a comprehensive safety and health program, ensuring the safety, health and environmental protection goals of the Company are met and to prevent accidents and eliminate or control exposures that could result in harm to our employees. The Safety & Training Coordinator is responsible for managing risk, evaluating training, implementing corporate programs, conducting safety training, performing jobsite inspections, advocating, and fostering a safety culture, and assisting crews with safe work practices. In addition, this position is expected to assist in safety audits and programs with the overall corporate safety strategy. The Safety & Training Coordinator will also be expected to engage in safety incident investigations including injury/illness, motor vehicle and property damage.
