About The Position

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of youth and adolescents? Join our team as a part-time Safety & Support Representative, where you’ll help create a safe, structured, and supportive environment for those in our care—while maintaining a flexible schedule.

As a Safety & Support Representative, you will partner with direct care staff to ensure the safety, supervision, and engagement of consumers. This role is hands-on, dynamic, and essential to maintaining a positive therapeutic environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Minimum of one year of related experience or training
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Nice To Haves

• Experience in behavioral health or a related field
• Familiarity with trauma-informed and person-centered care approaches
• Experience supporting individuals during behavioral health crises

Responsibilities

• Providing supervision and support to youth and adolescents
• Engaging individuals in problem-solving around safety and behavioral concerns
• Assisting direct care staff with daily activities, routines, and responsibilities
• Modeling safe, respectful, and positive behavior at all times
• Utilizing effective problem-solving and de-escalation skills
• Adhering to all organizational policies, procedures, and operational standards
• Stepping into a Lead role when Program Directors or Managers are unavailable, based on staffing needs
