About The Position

The Safety Administrator works closely with project managers to create comprehensive safety plans covering project resources, budgets, and timeframes. The role participates in safety meetings and site walks, organizes safety information, and helps ensure that project safety requirements are met. Responsibilities also include evaluating potential problems and technical challenges, developing solutions, managing safety documents and new information, and monitoring expenses to stay within budget while identifying cost-saving measures.

Requirements

• OSHA 30 certification is required; OSHA 10 certification is accepted if the candidate is willing to complete OSHA 30.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain strong relationships.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Team-management and leadership skills.
• Documentation management skills and ability to use project management tools.
• Attention to detail, including under pressure.
• Time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of related safety experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety meetings and propose improvements when necessary.
• Evaluate potential problems and technical challenges and develop solutions.
• Plan and manage safety documents and new information.
• Conduct site walks for safety oversight.
• Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures to adhere to budget.
• Adhere to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
