About The Position

The SAE Supervisor, Security - HHN is responsible for maintaining all shift records, reports, and passes. This role ensures that all security officers are properly trained in all aspects of their designated field positions and maintain company standards, taking corrective actions as needed. The position also involves overseeing guest and Team Member screening, protecting company assets, reviewing incident reports for thoroughness and conciseness, making notifications to upper management, and reviewing Blotter entries. Daily administrative duties include performance counselings, performance evaluations, and Kronos duties such as scheduling and time/attendance monitoring. The supervisor is also responsible for Team Member training, ensuring company standards and policies related to security matters are maintained and enforced. Additionally, the role requires understanding and participating in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High school degree or GED required.
  • 1-3 years in knowledge of policies and procedures for the park and knowledge of Security required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A background check is mandatory and results must meet Universal Orlando’s background check criteria.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures the safety of UO’s guests and Team Members.
  • Oversees guest and Team Member screening, as well as protects company assets from theft and other criminal activities.
  • Reviews Incident Reports, as well as ensures reports are thorough and concise for possible future litigation.
  • Makes proper notifications to upper Management.
  • Reviews Blotter entries.
  • Performs daily administrative duties that include, but are not limited to: Performance Counselings, Performance Evaluations, and Kronos duties (Scheduling, Time and Attendance Monitoring).
  • Responsible for Team Member training.
  • Ensures the company standards and policies are maintained with staff and enforced within the workplace as it relates to security matters.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
