About The Position

Fontainebleau Miami Beach, a historic and architecturally significant hotel, is seeking a Security Supervisor to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, visitors, and employees. This role involves performing protective and enforcement functions across all areas of the hotel, contributing to a spectacular blend of Golden Era glamour and modern luxury.

Requirements

Well organized and demonstrated strong problem solving skills.
Availability to work in the Overnight shift.
Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.
High school education or equivalent.
Minimum of five (5) years hotel security experience or minimum of two years (2) Security Supervisor/Manager experience or other management experience.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual highly desirable.
College degree preferred.
Military or law enforcement background preferred.

Responsibilities

Respond to emergencies, disturbances, undesired conduct, and threats to life and property.
Respond to assigned calls and initiate necessary reports and/or corrective action.
Monitor the employee entrance/exit to ensure appropriate property business.
Answer security telephone and dispatch calls to officers using a two-way radio system.
Monitor surveillance system, fire alarm system, property access control door alarm system, and other systems in the security control room.
Consult internally with Company personnel and departments to assure adequate security.
Guest room door lock and safe repair.
Conduct fire watch.
Perform preventative maintenance on Security equipment.
Serve as Lead Officer and supervision of Tier 2 and 3.
Initiate fire watch when needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
