SAC Coordinator/Preschool Teacher
About The Position
The Stateline Family YMCA is seeking a full-time SAC Coordinator/Preschool Teacher to make a lasting difference in young people's lives. This dual-role position involves leading preschool classroom instruction and directing School-Aged Care (SAC) operations. Responsibilities include designing daily curriculum and activity plans, supervising children, and ensuring a safe, enriching, licensed, and fun environment that aligns with YMCA values. The role also involves recruiting, training, scheduling, and mentoring staff, maintaining participant records, and building positive relationships with families, school staff, and the community.
Requirements
- Must be 18+ years old
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience working with children in a developmental setting required
- Ability to plan, organize, and implement age-appropriate curriculum for preschool and school-aged children
- Registry certificate required within two months of employment (or upon completion of required coursework)
