About The Position

The S4/HANA FICO Business Systems Analyst serves as the primary liaison between Finance business stakeholders and IT teams to support the implementation, configuration, optimization, and maintenance of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions. This role analyzes business requirements, designs functional solutions, supports SAP Finance modules, ensures regulatory compliance, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable financial systems. The position also provides technical leadership, supports system integration and data migration, mentors team members, and resolves complex finance system issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience supporting SAP Finance solutions.
  • Strong expertise in SAP FI/CO, Asset Accounting, and RE-FX.
  • Experience translating business requirements into functional SAP solutions.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting processes.
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation and configuration.
  • Experience with system integration, testing, and data migration.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Leadership and stakeholder management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, document, and validate Finance business requirements for SAP S/4HANA implementations.
  • Configure and support SAP FI/CO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting (AA).
  • Design and support Asset Accounting and Real Estate Management (RE-FX) processes.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to integrate SAP Finance with enterprise applications.
  • Develop functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, reports, and custom solutions.
  • Coordinate system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities.
  • Recommend best practices for SAP S/4HANA Finance while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Support financial data migration, validation, reconciliation, and system optimization.
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and enhancements.
  • Deliver user training and provide ongoing functional support.
  • Facilitate solution design workshops with Finance leadership.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend scalability improvements.
  • Mentor junior SAP consultants and engineers.
  • Resolve complex Finance system issues and provide escalation support.
  • Collaborate with audit and compliance teams to maintain internal controls and regulatory compliance.
