About The Position

Accendra Health aims to simplify healthcare by delivering care beyond traditional settings, making essential products and services accessible throughout life. Teammates play a critical role in providing personalized, long-term care to patients, leveraging deep expertise in promoting health outside hospitals through brands like Apria and Byram Healthcare. The Director of Managed Care (referred to as RVP in the title) is responsible for selling products and services to regional managed care organizations and key regional components of national managed care organizations, with the goal of growing sales territories to achieve company objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 5 years sales experience with at least two years selling healthcare services to national or regional managed care organizations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and organization skills
  • Ability to travel as needed

Responsibilities

  • Ability to sell Byram services utilizing a structured sales process.
  • Solicit, negotiate, implement, and maintain long-term referral generating relationships.
  • Must be able to effectively sell Byram's value proposition
  • Organize and prioritize time and schedules to maximize exposure to key customers.
  • Convert current and new customer sources into a progressively growing referral and revenue base
  • Effectively work with healthcare professionals, institutions, community agencies, trade associations, and manufacturers to promote Byram's value proposition.
  • Must be able to attend trade shows, conferences, association meetings, and educational seminars
  • Develop creative solutions to identified customer issues.
  • Must be able to respond in a manner in which improves the customer relationship.
