About The Position

Campers Inn RV is seeking an RV Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and demonstrate recreational vehicles. The role includes work involving electrical systems, plumbing, interior carpentry, and vehicle exteriors, along with routine maintenance and test drives to identify problems and confirm proper operation. Technicians also explain RV features and operation and demonstrate basic maintenance to customers. This is a safety-sensitive position. The technician may work independently or as part of a team, use hand and power tools, wear protective clothing and equipment as required, and tow RVs of various sizes. The role involves physical tasks such as climbing ladders, lifting, pulling, pushing, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety manuals.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
Ability to wear protective clothing and use protective equipment as required by OSHA regulations.
Ability to tow RVs of various sizes as needed.
Ability to perform physical tasks involving adjusting, climbing ladders, connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, or bending.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to reach above the shoulders and lift at least 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of RV service experience.

Responsibilities

Inspect and repair electrical systems, plumbing, interior carpentry, exteriors, and other RV components to ensure proper operating condition.
Perform routine maintenance.
Test drive RVs to diagnose issues and ensure they are working properly.
Demonstrate the use, function, and features of RVs and explain how to perform basic maintenance.
