About The Position

Bretz RV & Marine is seeking motivated individuals for their RV Technician Trainee program in Missoula, MT. This apprenticeship offers comprehensive training to become a Certified RV Technician, a career identified as one of the fastest growing in the country. Trainees will prepare RVs for sale, install accessories, and repair mechanical systems, working closely with senior technicians, service advisors, and the parts team to foster learning and career growth.

Requirements

Provide a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening test
18 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent
Be able to stand, walk or crouch for extended periods of time
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Bending, stooping, kneeling frequently
Must be able to climb ladders
Requires wearing closed toe shoes
Blue or Black work pants (no denim jeans)

Nice To Haves

2 years high school shop class
2 years of experience working on / repairing automobiles (home or business)
Basic understanding of 12V electrical (car audio, equipment, tractors, automobiles, etc.)
Basic understanding of 110V electrical (residential or commercial)
Basic ability in welding / fabrication
Basic understanding of small engines
Basic ability in construction / carpentry
Basic ability in plumbing
Basic ability in automotive accessory install
Technical college degree preferred

Responsibilities

Prepare RVs for sale
Install accessories
Repair mechanical systems when they fail
Work directly with senior level technicians, service advisors, parts team members and other co-workers to learn and grow in this career.
