The RV Service Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and installations on company and customer vehicles, with a focus on quality, efficiency, safety, and cleanliness. Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Experience using basic hand and power tools
  • HVAC, building trades, automotive or mechanical experience
  • Possesses, or able to procure, RV1 certification within first year of employment
  • Ability to follow safety instructions and promote a safe working environment
  • Ability to read technical diagrams or blueprints
  • Customer friendly, observant and well organized
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team, in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in following verbal and written guidelines to perform job functions

Responsibilities

  • Receive job priorities from Service Advisor or Foreman
  • Test, diagnose, and make repairs to RVs using diagnostic tools, and according to manufacturer’s instructions and mechanical knowledge and skills
  • Install equipment and accessories onto RVs and test for proper function
  • Provide instructions to the customer on proper use and care
  • Review and update work orders using the computer system to document cause and correction, and diagnosis/repair action steps performed
  • Safely transport vehicles to and from repair areas
  • Assist the parts and warranty teams by expeditiously providing required information to quote/source parts and submit warranty claims
  • Perform live demonstration of RV system functionality for new/used RVs sold
  • Perform light indoor shop maintenance
  • Perform housekeeping in the service shop, such as sweeping and general cleaning, throughout the workday
  • Record and report description of any external damage discovered to vehicles

  • Bonus incentive program eligibility (up to $10k+ annually based on individual production) after approximately 90 days and achieving RVTI Level 1 Certification
