About The Position

We are an established, third-generation, family-owned RV dealership seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to join our onsite sales team. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who excels in a consultative sales environment and is looking for strong commission potential with a stable, reputable company. Hilltop Camper & RV, with stores in Fridley, Oronoco, Brainerd, and Alexandria, MN, is a 3rd generation family-owned camper & RV dealership that employs approximately 140 employees and sells, services, and outfits campers and RVs. Our employees help our customers find the right solution for their family fun camping needs. Our employees provide consultative selling, appropriate financing options, a variety of parts and accessories, and quality service to their campers. We're a one-stop shop for all our customers' needs.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience required (automotive, RV, real estate, or other high-ticket sales)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
  • Comfortable working onsite, including weekends
  • Professional appearance and customer-first approach
  • Experience working in a commission-based compensation structure

Responsibilities

  • Guide customers through the RV buying process, from initial inquiry to final sale
  • Build rapport, assess customer needs, and recommend the right RV solutions
  • Maintain product knowledge across new and pre-owned inventory
  • Follow up with leads and develop long-term customer relationships
  • Collaborate with management and support teams to successfully close deals
  • Deliver a professional, customer-focused buying experience
