About The Position

The RV Resort General Manager position at Roberts Resorts & Communities is a hands-on leadership role focused on building community and fulfilling dreams. This role is central to the Gold Canyon resort, requiring a leader who genuinely cares about residents and guests, supports their team, and takes pride in the property. The position involves a dynamic workload, with a busy, people-centric environment from October to April, and a focus on projects, planning, and improvements during the summer months. This is not an office-bound role; the General Manager is expected to be visible, approachable, and actively involved in all aspects of the resort's operations and community life.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience managing an RV resort, campground, golf community, HOA, or similar hospitality operation.
• Comfort with budgets, P&Ls, and revenue discussions.
• Strong communication skills, including confidence presenting to groups of residents.
• A genuine enjoyment of people, golf, and the outdoors.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and events during peak season.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly meetings with residents, listening to concerns, communicating clearly, and following through on feedback.
• Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the resort, golf course, and grounds are in excellent condition.
• Collaborate with the Activities Director to develop and implement a vibrant community calendar.
• Support the Rental Home Manager to maximize occupancy of rental homes during the peak season.
• Work with the Revenue Manager on pricing strategies, including nightly rates, seasonal pricing, and rental increases.
• Manage budgets, staffing, and the day-to-day operations of the resort.
• Lead summer projects and planning initiatives to enhance the resort for the upcoming season.
• Maintain a visible, approachable, and present demeanor across the property daily.
