About The Position

Ron Hoover RV & Marine Centers is seeking an experienced RV & Marine Service Technician to join our service team in Claremore, Oklahoma. This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, rigging, and maintaining RVs and boats to ensure our customers enjoy safe, reliable, and adventure-ready vehicles and vessels. If you are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and take pride in quality workmanship, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

Previous RV, Marine, Automotive, or related mechanical technician experience required
Must provide your own tools
Physical ability to work in and around RVs and boats, including climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting
Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Willingness to stay current on manufacturer updates, evolving technology, and industry best practices

Nice To Haves

RVTI, marine, or manufacturer certifications are a plus
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, fuel, hydraulic, HVAC, and rigging systems
Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high-quality workmanship
Reliable, punctual, and accountable

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and LP gas systems
Diagnose and repair boat engines, mechanical systems, and marine components
Install, troubleshoot, and repair accessories such as GPS systems, trolling motors, sound systems, lighting, and electronics
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, testing, warranty repairs, and water-readiness checks
Troubleshoot issues efficiently and accurately across RV and marine products
Complete repair orders and service documentation thoroughly and professionally
Follow safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, and company procedures
Work independently and as part of a service team to meet production goals and customer satisfaction expectations
