About The Position
Language Trainers is an international language training company seeking a freelance Russian Teacher for a client in Sacramento, United States. This is a one-to-one business course with a total of 23 hours, with each session lasting two hours. The student is a lower intermediate learner, aged 17 and under, who wishes to continue exposure to the Russian language. The preferred schedule is once per week, with mornings on Saturdays or afternoons on Sundays. The preferred start date is ASAP.
Requirements
- Native Russian speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of Sacramento, 95670.
- Ability to provide CV with references.
- Provide availability.
- Provide earliest possible start date.
Nice To Haves
- Experience teaching business Russian.
- Experience with students aged 17 and under.
- Experience with one-to-one tutoring.
Responsibilities
- Provide customized language training to a student for work, family, and travel purposes.
- Conduct one-to-one Russian language lessons.
- Adapt teaching methods to the student's level (Lower Intermediate) and age group (17 and under).
- Schedule lessons according to the student's availability (Saturdays mornings or Sundays afternoons).
