About The Position

The Department of Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living (DAIL) is seeking a Project Manager to lead the Rural Health Transformation (RHT) Project, a significant 5-year initiative aimed at reshaping healthcare delivery in Vermont. This key role within the DAIL Commissioner’s Office will be responsible for overseeing DAIL's RHT projects, which include expanding Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) training and increasing nursing home capacity for ventilator and dialysis services, as part of Vermont's broader RHT Plan. The project is supported by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) with a substantial financial assistance award.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree AND four (4) years or more of experience where the primary role was project management.
• OR Associate's degree AND six (6) years or more of experience where the primary role was project management.
• OR High School diploma or equivalent AND eight (8) years or more of experience where the primary role was project management.
• Strong ability to ensure accountability
• Action-oriented mindset with a focus on results
• Skilled collaborator who builds effective, lasting partnerships
• Excellent communication skills across multiple formats and audiences
• Proven ability to manage complex projects

Responsibilities

• Engage extensively with nursing homes and key partners
